Welcome to my blog Patriotic Conservatism. This is a first for me. I'm doing this because I can no longer be silent and this is the only way I can get my voice out there for many to hear. In this blog, I will be posting facts about the issues that concern the welfare of all Americans. I will be adding my opinions on the issues as well. I welcome any responses to my posts whether for or against what I have to say. I look forward to this blog becoming bigger than I could ever imagine. All I ask of anyone who reads my words is please pass this blog along for others to read. If my words can help open the eyes of just one more person to the atrocities our elected officials are committing, it will have been worth it. Thank you and enjoy.

Tyranny! When a situation or person controls how you are able to live, in an unfair way. Or in the case of America, people. Those people are Barack Hussein Obama and the elected officials of the Senate and the House of Representatives. Most of them are Democrats with extremely leftist views. Some are Republicans who are not true conservatives. They have an agenda to control every aspect of our lives. They do this by enacting laws that chip away at the core of our freedoms the Founding Fathers laid out for us in the amendments to our Constitution and our inalienable God given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Where is the life when government keeps those who live off of the tax payer's dollars on government assistance? Where is the liberty in taxing us to death? Where is the pursuit of happiness when government is forcing us to abide by laws that are unconstitutional and possibly treasonist?

Our government has grown to astronomical proportions. There is an office for everything imaginable. This is directly against what our Founding Fathers had envisioned. Both Democrats and Republicans are guilty of this. The larger the government grows, the more control they have over our lives and what we can and cannot do. As George Washington said in his farewell address, "All obstructions to the execution of the Laws, all combinations and associations, under whatever plausible character, with the real design to direct, control, counteract, or awe the regular deliberation and action of the constituted authorities, are destructive of this fundamental principle, and of fatal tendency. They serve to organize faction, to give it an artificial and extraordinary force; to put, in the place of the delegated will of the nation, the will of a party, often a small but artful and enterprising minority of the community; and, according to the alternate triumphs of different parties, to make the public administration the mirror of the ill-concerted and incongruous projects of faction, rather than the organ of consistent and wholesome plans digested by common counsels, and modified by mutual interests. However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people, and to usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines, which have lifted them to unjust dominion."

I will end my first blog with this: Freedom-the condition or right of being able or allowed to do, say, think, etc., a right to act in the way you think you should. We as Americans have freedom. However, slowly but surely it is being taken away from us little by little by the actions of people who have statist and marxist agendas. It's time to take our country back. We The People are the only ones who can do this by wisely choosing who we elect to office. We do make a difference. So, my question to you is, 'Do you feel like your freedom is being comprimised?' If the answer is 'Yes', then educate yourself on the issues, contact your elected officials and tell them what you think and by all means vote for those who have our country's best issues in mind.
